Well, I think so anyway.
Usually I grow potatoes in the ground and dig them up when ready, but I have got lazy in my old age. Plus, I don't know about you but I always stab the bloody things when I am trying to find them. Well I didn't say I was a good gardener!! Just a willing one.
This one and easy method has got me to never dig a potatoes bed ever again and I can say I am happy about that.
Well it all started when now having two dogs in the house and having to feed them, this ended up with big empty dog food bags left over.
Nothing like putting plastic bags into good use better than land fill.
Here is my six easy steps to grow potatoes, the easy way!
Even if you are lacking in space.
1) First find that empty bag and cut the top off, or fold down. ( like in photo) and then stab some small holds in the bottom.

2) Fill bag with compost only about 4/5 inches ( about length of your hand).
3) Place 4 medium size poatoes on top of soil.

4) Continue to add more compost on top of potatoes just to cover them well. Do not fill up bag!!
5) Water them well and now leave them.
6) Once they start growing through, add more compost just to cover them and continue this until they start growing out the bag.

Here's one I did earlier!! I do one of these bag every month from March to July. I will try and get a photo on here soon when I get my first harvest.
